Bingo Association says variety of games at online bingo sites shows similarities with land-based game.
The options online bingo players have at their disposal shows that the internet numbers game bares similarities with the land-based version of the hobby, according to an industry expert.Bingo Association communications manager Steve Baldwin said that this is not the only link between online bingo and that which is played in clubs across the UK.
Apparently, the method of organising bingo prizes is the same online as it is at land-based halls.

"Obviously the higher the prize the lower the win ability and the lower the prize there is a rule the higher the win ability," said Mr Baldwin.
These are the "two key issues" whether someone is playing online or in a club, he added.
Gambling Commission statistics released last year showed that there were more than 650 dedicated UK bingo clubs in operation as of March 31st 2007. Additionally, there were 1,000 other clubs and smaller institutions where the numbers game was played.
