Steve Freeth, sports pro at bookmaker bet365, has said that there is a current trend to back the Gunners for glory.

"Punters used to leave Arsenal alone occasionally, but there's a feeling this time around that Arsene [Wenger] could finally get his hands on the trophy he yearns for," he commented.
The gambling firm's representative also claimed that bookmakers are generally happy when English teams lose in European competition because they tend to be backed to win.
Arsenal reached the Champions League final in 2006 but lost 2-1 to Barcelona after Sol Campbell had given them the lead.
