Sports betting enthusiasts may like to consider Aidan O'Brien's recent decisions for his star horses.
Trainer Aidan O'Brien is considering entering some of his top horses in the Queen Elizabeth II (QEII) Stakes and the Breeders' Cup in the coming months, which may interest fans of sports betting.Following success with Mastercraftsman in the Ireland National Stakes, the Irishman is only five victories away from equalling Bobby Frankel's record of 25 Group One wins throughout the course of one season.
And O'Brien told the Racing Post this weekend of his plans to reach that landmark.
"The QEII is the plan for Henrythenavigator and we'll see how he gets on there before looking at the Breeders' Cup meeting," he explained to the publication.
His stable is also considering putting Frozen Fire in the Breeders' Cup Turf event.
In other sports betting news, totesport revealed earlier this week that bookies are expecting a £20 million betting turnover during this weekend's golf Ryder Cup.
