Various jobs are available at Wynn casino company as the firm prepares to open new development.
US casino group Wynn is looking to employ some 5,300 people for its new Encore resort, which is due to open in December 2008.The organisation started accepting applications in July for various roles, including hotel operations, housekeeping, security and catering.
All this comes despite the US going through one of its most serious economic downturns in recent times.
"Without question, the combination of the current economic climate and Wynn's reputation as an employer of choice contributes to the high levels of interest among applicants we are currently experiencing," said Stephanie Rosol, vice president of human resources at Wynn Las Vegas.
Entrepreneur Steve Wynn is the man behind the Wynn organisation. The chief has a property in the Asian gambling hotspot Macau, as well as Las Vegas.
