Blackjack game installed at Desert Rose Casino in California.
Visitors to the Desert Rose Casino in Alturas can now play blackjack as well as trying their luck on the slot machines.The California gaming venue was previously only a purveyor of slot jackpots, with 180 terminals installed, but has this week unveiled its first Progressive Blackjack machine.
Supplied by Las Vegas-based manufacturer TableMAX, the blackjack game is being touted as a major new feature by bosses at the Desert Rose.

Raland Millard, director of slots at the casino, said: "To have the added excitement of a table game on our floor is a fun new reason for our players to visit."
The Progressive Blackjack terminal is also the first game installed by TableMAX in California.
Stephen Crystal, chief executive officer at the company, commented: "California is a major market in the industry and we're very excited to have our first California installation."
Earlier this year, TableMAX installed the world's first electronic Caribbean stud poker table at Oklahoma's Bordertown Casino & Bingo.
