Luckiest Californian Casinos Revealed

Results of Reader’s Choices Awards announced - Valley View Casino voted luckiest establishment.

Valley View Casino has been voted southern California's luckiest casino by readers of a local gambling publication.

According to the Southern Californian Gaming Guide's Reader's Choice Awards, it beat Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino and Viejas Casino & Outlet Centre - which were voted second and third respectively - to the accolade.

Various other awards were issued in what was apparently a record-breaking ballot.

Theon Cross, publisher of the guide, which is read by thousands of casino-goers across the western state, said: "A record number of southern California casino players voted to determine the sixth annual Reader's Choice Awards for 2008."

He added that the results reflect the choices of its 450,000 readers.

Winning casino Valley View is located in San Diego and has 750 slot machines and 18 table games, including single and double-deck blackjack.
