Poker tournament offers packages for WSOP in Las Vegas
Players taking part in the All Africa Poker Tournament in South Africa next year will have the chance to win a place at the World Series of Poker (WSOP).The event, which is scheduled for February 26th to March 1st at the Piggs Peak Hotel and Casino in Swaziland, offers 2009 WSOP packages for the top five players.
With a buy-in of 25,000 rand (£1,630), the tournament's main event boasts a first prize of one million rand, as well as places in Las Vegas for the most prestigious tournament in world poker.
Players will start with a chip stack of 5,000 and there will be unlimited re-buys and one add-on.
This year's WSOP was won by Denmark's Peter Eastgate, who defeated Ivan Demidov of Russia earlier this month to become the youngest ever player to take down the main event at the age of 22.
He also pocketed over $9 million (£5.8 million) for his victory at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
