Sorensen Takes Top Prize at Master Classics of Poker

Jan Sorensen has won the grand final of the main event at the Master Classics of Poker tournament at the Holland Casino in Amsterdam. He took 623,000 Euros home as the grand prize.

Sorensen defeated Gustav Ekerot for the top prize in one of the biggest international poker tournaments to be held in Europe, which attracted players from the USA, Canada, Russia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Slovakia, Ireland, Norway, England, Denmark, Sweden, Holland, and Belgium.

The tournament had a buy-in of 6,000 Euros plus a 200 Euro entry fee, and ran from November 11th to 14th. The tournament featured seven different events, including Texas Hold’em and Omaha poker events with buy-ins ranging from 330 Euros to 6,200 Euros.

The prizes for the tournaments varied depending on the number of participants in each tournament.
