Poker tournament reaches final table stage with six players left
Six players will contest the final table of the third PartyPoker Premier League.The final table has a distinctly international feel, with UK player Roland de Wolfe, Juha Helppi of Finland, Australia's Tony G, Tom Dwan and JC Tran of the US and Danish player Peter Eastgate set to battle it out.
Tran currently holds the chip stack lead with 450,000, while Eastgate has 390,000 and Helppi 340,000.
The winner of the final table will receive $300,000, with second place taking home $150,000 and third $80,000.
Eastgate is the reigning World Series of Poker (WSOP) champion following his triumph in Las Vegas earlier this month.
The 22-year-old took Phil Hellmuth's record for the youngest ever main event winner and pocketed over $9 million for his victory over Russia's Ivan Demidov in heads-up play.
Tran and Tony G both won their first heats in the Premier League earlier this week, with Tran coming out on top in a game which also included Eastgate, de Wolfe, Annette Obrestad and David 'Devilfish' Ulliott.
