Sky Poker To Launch Online Poker Tournaments Over Christmas

Gaming portal announces special Christmas poker tournaments.

Online poker portal Sky Poker has announced its intention to run special Christmas tournaments over the festive period, reports gamingalerts.co.uk.

The website will introduce a Christmas Tikay Giveaway and a longer version of its Bounty Hunter tournament.

According to a report on the website: "Christmas Tikay Giveaway will see players battle it out to win the grand prize of Sky Poker analyst and UK poker legend Tony 'Tikay' Kendall.

Tikay is part of Sky's commentary team and is also responsible for directing tournaments on the Sky Poker UK Tour.

The Tikay tournament, which is hosted by the man himself and Norman Pace, will commence at the Open at 21:00 BST on December 27th.

Thirteen presenters and analysts will take part in the Bounty Hunter Christmas Blowout, which will involve some 700 players. It will air at 21:00 on December 22nd.

Sky Poker runs a live Texas Hold'em tournament every night on Sky Channel 865 at 21:00.
