Soap actors celebrate Christmas at casino in Manchester
A casino in Manchester provided the venue for Coronation Street's unofficial Christmas celebration last week, it has emerged.With bosses at ITV cancelling plans for a Christmas party, stars of the long-running soap decided to organise their own festive bash at city centre gambling venue Manchester235, the Daily Mail reports.
Coronation Street actresses Michelle Keegan, Jane Danson and Samia Smith were spotted at the casino, with senior cast members such as Bill Tarmey, who plays Jack Duckworth, also in attendance.

Manchester235, which has also hosted parties for Manchester United footballers this year, features gaming areas spread over two floors, with blackjack, roulette and three-card poker tables available to visitors.
The casino also contains several electronic roulette and slot machines, two restaurants and several bars.
Other gaming venues in Manchester include G Casino Bury New Road, which hosts weekly tournaments in its poker room.
