Gaming expert positive over prospects for bingo companies.
A gaming expert has given an optimistic assessment of the future for online bingo, despite the UK's gloomy economic outlook.Director of Bullet Business Ravi Virpal said that the growth of internet bingo services "hasn't levelled out yet", with many new members still signing up to take part in the numbers game online.
He also claimed that the amount of high-profile advertising recently being undertaken by bingo companies is an encouraging sign for the industry.

"I'm pretty sure that the outlook is buoyant and confident," Mr Virpal said.
"That is reflected by the amount of media advertising that [bingo operators] are doing on some TV channels," he added.
William Hill Bingo recently signed an agreement to sponsor ITV1 gameshow The Real Deal, while Mecca Bingo was unveiled as the new shirt sponsor of rugby league side Wigan Warriors last week.
Over 350 industry representatives are expected to attend the fourth annual Online Bingo Summit, which will be hosted by Bullet Business in June.
