The Missoula Police Department is currently searching for a man who robbed the Lucky Lil’s Casino on Brooks Street at gunpoint.
The robbery took place at around 10:30 on Thursday night, when an unknown male entered the casino with a handgun, and demanded money. He left the casino on foot, carrying an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber was described as being a white male in his twenties. He was of slender build, and approximately 5’8” tall. He was wearing a dark beanie and a grey hoodie, with a dark, heavy coat over the top. He also had a blue bandana covering his face. He had light coloured, baggy jeans on, and dark (black or brown) boots.
Police have some surveillance video footage of the suspect, which they are currently working with.
The police have asked that anyone with information about the robbery, or the suspect, contact the Missoula Police Department, or contact Crimestoppers on 721.4444.
This robbery comes just a few days after the robbery of the Missoula Federal Credit Union, which is also on Brooks Street. The robber of the credit union was caught shortly after the event, and is currently in hospital receiving treatment for a gunshot wound sustained during the chase, after he opened fire on the officers pursuing him.
