ITV unveils new bingo games based on popular programmes.
ITV's online bingo service is now offering its players special games based on the TV channel's popular soap operas.In an attempt to add a fresh twist to its games, ITV Bingo has created new "rooms" with themes such as Coronation Street and Emmerdale, as well as I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!
According to the Press Association, the new offerings have already proved popular with bingo fans, many of whom have been making up new soap-themed bingo rhymes to replace traditional calls such as 'two fat ladies'.

"When we designed these rooms we knew we were combining two of the nation's great loves, soaps and bingo, but we never imagined it would spark a change in the fundamentals of the game," William Van Rest, controller of ITV Play, told the news provider.
"Countless players have been chatting to each other in the Emmerdale and Coronation Street branded rooms … trying to come up with new bingo calls related to the soaps," he added.
Earlier this month, William Hill Bingo announced a sponsorship deal with ITV1's daytime antiques gameshow The Real Deal.
