Bingo birthday events on offer at Gala Bingo clubs.
Gala Bingo venues around the country are planning special events to celebrate the 80th birthday of the numbers game this month.As bingo was officially invented in 1929, clubs will look to mark the anniversary with parties, free games and special offers.
Gala Bingo in Sheffield is celebrating with a free game for everyone on January 29th as part of the celebrations, with a £10 all-day ticket available on Saturday (January 17th), the South Yorkshire Star reports.

"It's the perfect time of year to kick off the birthday celebrations with everyone recovering from Christmas and what better way to get in the spirit than with special offers and free bingo," the Sheffield venue's general manager David Heap told the newspaper.
"This year is all about celebrating bingo's 80 great years, with many more to come we're sure," he added.
Meanwhile, Gala Bingo in Southampton kicked off its celebrations with a birthday cake for staff and customers this week, the Southern Daily Echo reports.
