Another prestigious online gambling award for 888.com.
Gaming website 888.com has been named Top Casino of the Year in the 2008 Gambling Online Magazine awards.Voted for by readers of the magazine and designed to honour the highest levels of service in the online casino industry, the accolade has been given to 888.com for the second consecutive year.
Matt Robinson, vice president of marketing at 888, described the award as a "tremendous distinction".

He continued: "It is voted by those who actually play our casino games and by those who have also experienced our competitors' efforts, so it is a true reflection of our place at the top of the hierarchical tree in today's casino marketplace."
In September last year, 888 emerged as a winner in three categories at the eGaming Awards, receiving prizes for Operator of the Year, Bingo Operator of the Year and Land Links Partnership of the Year.
The Gambling Online Magazine awards are now in their eighth year and remain the only industry awards voted for by members of the public.
