Bookmakers shorten relegation price for Hull following 2-1 defeat.
Bookmaker Sky Bet has reduced its odds on Hull City being relegated from the Premier League to 3/1 following their 2-1 defeat to Tottenham on Monday night (February 23rd).A late goal from Jonathan Woodgate lifted Spurs to 14th in the league and condemned Hull to a demoralising defeat at the KC Stadium, while increasing the relegation fears surrounding Phil Brown's side.
Now without a league victory since December 6th, Hull have picked up just nine points from the last 51 available.
William Hill is offering 6/1 on this season's three Premier League newcomers Hull, Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion all dropping back down to the Championship at the end of the season.
West Brom are favourites for the drop at 1/4 with William Hill, while Stoke are priced at 1/2 and Middlesbrough are a 1/1 bet.
Punters expecting both Hull and Spurs to be relegated, despite last night's result, can get odds of 50/1 at the bookmaker.
