Football Betting: Relegation Odds Cut On Hull

Bookmakers shorten relegation price for Hull following 2-1 defeat.

Bookmaker Sky Bet has reduced its odds on Hull City being relegated from the Premier League to 3/1 following their 2-1 defeat to Tottenham on Monday night (February 23rd).

A late goal from Jonathan Woodgate lifted Spurs to 14th in the league and condemned Hull to a demoralising defeat at the KC Stadium, while increasing the relegation fears surrounding Phil Brown's side.

Now without a league victory since December 6th, Hull have picked up just nine points from the last 51 available.

William Hill is offering 6/1 on this season's three Premier League newcomers – Hull, Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion – all dropping back down to the Championship at the end of the season.

West Brom are favourites for the drop at 1/4 with William Hill, while Stoke are priced at 1/2 and Middlesbrough are a 1/1 bet.

Punters expecting both Hull and Spurs to be relegated, despite last night's result, can get odds of 50/1 at the bookmaker.
