Recruitment process for Nottingham bingo venue begins.
A new bingo club is set to open in the Nottingham suburb of Beeston later this year, it has emerged.Mecca Bingo intends to launch the venue in May and will hold two recruitment days for a variety of staff roles later this month, the Nottingham Evening Post reports.
The bingo firm is looking to take on about 65 employees to run the bingo hall, which will be located in the Queen's Road area of Beeston.
Jay Murray, general manager of the new club, said that personality will be just as important as experience and qualifications for people seeking a job at the Mecca venue.
"We are looking for bright, warm personalities who can make our members feel welcome and enjoy their first visit to Mecca," he told the local newspaper.
Bingo games will form part of the recruitment days, which take place at Castle College in Nottingham city centre on February 18th and 19th.
Mecca Bingo was recently confirmed as the new shirt sponsor of Super League club Wigan Warriors.
