Bingo firms ready to increase marketing budgets, says industry expert.
Operators of online bingo services are set to increase their marketing and advertising budgets in order to stay ahead in an increasingly competitive industry, it has been claimed.Paul Fraser, owner of online bingo guide whichbingo.co.uk, said that the marketplace has become "a very competitive landscape", with many bingo firms going to greater lengths to promote their products.
He believes that bingo operators are seeking new ways of "differentiating their product" as a way to attract more players and stay ahead of rival companies.
"People will try to differentiate both in terms of product and of marketing," Mr Fraser explained.
"The marketing spends will get bigger because it will get more and more competitive."
Scott Logan, managing director of bingoport.co.uk, recently commented on the "innovative marketing campaigns" of major bingo firms in the UK.
Foxy Bingo is believed to have spent about £10 million on its latest TV advertising campaign.
