Dortmund casino will host the EPT's next poker event in March.
A record number of online poker qualifiers have already booked their seats for the European Poker Tour (EPT) event in Germany next month.Taking place in Dortmund from March 10th to 14th, the EPT German Open is one of the richest tournaments on the calendar and attracts players from all over the world.
According to the EPT, at least 120 online players will be heading to the Hohensyburg Casino in Dortmund after qualifying for the €5,300 (£4,740) buy-in event through PokerStars.

Many more players will have the opportunity to book their places in the days leading up to the tournament, which was won by Canada's Mike 'Timex' McDonald last year.
Poker pros already confirmed for EPT Dortmund include Luca Pagano, Alex Kravchenko, Katja Thater, Dario Minieri and Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier, as well as World Series of Poker champion Peter Eastgate.
Online poker ace McDonald won €933,000 at the 2008 event, beating Germany's Andreas Gulunay in heads-up play.
