Poker event taking place at Dortmund casino this week.
The European Poker Tour (EPT) heads to Dortmund for the German Open tomorrow (March 10th).Taking place at the Casino Hohensyburg, the 5,300 (£4,838) buy-in event will be attended by some of the world's top poker players and a large number of online qualifiers.
According to the EPT, nearly 150 people have won seats for the tournament through PokerStars, while seven pros from Team PokerStars will also be taking part in Dortmund.
Moritz Kranich and Jens Kyllonen, winners of the last two EPT events in Deauville and Copenhagen respectively, have both confirmed their attendance alongside other top European players such as Luca Pagano, Alex Kravchenko and Dario Minieri.
Denmark's Peter Eastgate, the reigning World Series of Poker champion, is also set to make an appearance at Casino Hohensyburg.
Last year's EPT Dortmund was won by online player Mike "Timex" McDonald of Canada, who took home 933,600.
