Polish Formula One star Robert Kubica has been spotted brushing up on his poker skills with Australian card sharp Joe Hachem.Currently in Melbourne for this week's Australian Grand Prix, the BMW driver was seen discussing Texas hold'em tactics with Hachem, who won the World Series of Poker main event in 2005.
Kubica is known to be a keen poker player and has said that the game helps him to relax away from the racetrack.
The Krakow-born driver will be hoping to improve on last season's fourth-place finish when the new F1 championship gets underway, with Sunday's Australian Grand Prix providing his first test.
Kubica, who won his maiden Grand Prix in Canada last June, is the first Polish driver to compete in F1.
The drivers have been involved in a variety of activities in the build-up to the race this week, with McLaren's Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen attending a photocall with Australian cricket legend and poker enthusiast Shane Warne.
