Jennifer Harman's charity poker event taking place on Friday April 17th.
Professional poker player Jennifer Harman has revealed details of her latest charity venture, taking place at the Venetian Poker Room in Las Vegas this Friday (April 17th).The event will see many celebrity players and poker pros converge on the famous casino to raise money for the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
All proceeds will be donated to the charity, with the buy-in for the no-limit Texas hold'em tournament set at $330 (£219) and $100 re-buys available during the first three 20-minute levels.
Players confirmed to attend the event, which is also open the public, include Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, Phil Hellmuth, Todd Brunson and Maria Ho.
Nancy Cartwright, otherwise known as 'the voice of Bart Simpson', is also set to take her place at the poker table in the Venetian.
A seat at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event has been donated as the grand prize, as well as a watch by Curtis & Co.
Harman, whose charity poker event is now in its third year, has two WSOP bracelets and over $2.2 million in career earnings to her name.
