Countdown to 2009 WSOP in Las Vegas has begun.
Eight online poker aces will take part in this year's World Series of Poker (WSOP) after winning packages with Ladbrokes.The gaming firm's Vegas Dream promotion offers online card sharps the chance to play for a trip to the world's most prestigious poker tournament, which takes place in Las Vegas every summer.
With 200 people taking part in the recent $25k Added Vegas Dream Satellite, eight players have already booked their flights to the Nevada casino capital.

Last year, 120 players representing Ladbrokes Poker took part in the WSOP, with 12 of them finishing in the money.
According to the website, players who qualify for the event this year will get the chance to "be part of the world's biggest poker event, play poker in some of the world's most famous card rooms, enjoy the Vegas nightlife in true Ladbrokes style and hopefully deliver a European winner for a second consecutive year".
The 2008 WSOP main event was won by Denmark's Peter Eastgate, who became the youngest ever main event champion at the age of 22.
