Patricia Demauro of Denville, New Jersey has set a record for the longest craps roll – at four hours, 18 minutes. The record was set at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa on Saturday evening. The officials at Borgata said that her roll bested the previous record of three hours and six minutes, which was set nearly 20 years ago at a Las Vegas Casino.
Demauro bought into a game for $100 at 8:13 PM, and her game play quickly amassed a large crowd of supporters cheering her on. She eventually ‘sevened out’ at 12:31 AM, after having made 154 rolls of the dice. She was then treated to a champagne toast.
Demauro said “This was only my second time playing craps, so this was very exciting for me to be a part of history.” The casino declined to disclose how much Demauro won during her record-breaking stretch of play at the table.
