Actors discuss playing poker with Jamie Oliver.
Actor Jason Flemyng has revealed that his friendship with fellow thespian Dexter Fletcher was strengthened by a shared love of poker. The two men met through Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Guy Ritchie's hit 1998 film in which they both starred alongside Jason Statham, Nick Moran and Vinnie Jones.
Speaking to the Independent, Flemyng said that his regular poker games with Fletcher often involve another famous player.
"We have a good friend called Jamie Oliver who we play poker with, so he comes over and teaches us how to cook something, then we go away and have a go," the 42-year-old revealed.
Meanwhile, US film star Edward Norton has also been discussing his enthusiasm for poker.
The Fight Club and American History X star recently told the New York Daily News that he frequently beats fellow actor Woody Harrelson at the card game, although Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire is supposed to be a more formidable opponent.
"I hear Tobey is so good - almost pro-level - so that's a little intimidating," Norton said.
