The 2009 World series of Poker will begin next month. The event is being held in Las Vegas, but people from all over the world will be able to enjoy the action, as 24 out of the 57 events will be broadcast online by ESPN and BluffMagazine.

WSOP commissioner Jeffrey Pollack said “We are proud to provide the culminating action of so many prominent events to a worldwide audience in real time. This online initiative will complement our spectacular television package on ESPN and deliver even more of this year’s milestone WSOP to fans who want the most immediate coverage possible.”

There are going to be 24 bracelet events covered, including the big-money $50,000 HORSE tournament, and the $10,000 pot-limit hold’em poker tournament. The events will begin on June 2nd, and will run until July 1st.

Also included in the televised events will be several six-handed texas hold’em tournaments, no-limit shootouts, and Omaha/Pot-Limit hold’em games.

The full listings can be found on the ESPN360 and BluffMagazine web sites.
