Newcastle Casino Growing In Stature

Casino gamers travel from far and wide to visit Newcastle venue, claims Aspers boss.

Aspers Casino in Newcastle has developed into one of the UK's foremost gaming venues, according to the firm's chief operations officer Richard Noble.

Speaking to north-west business website bdaily, Mr Noble said that the recent success of its casino at The Gate is based on the vibrancy of the city in which it is located and the surrounding community.

"Newcastle is a great city and Aspers is a great casino, so the two have a good link," he told the website.

Aspers at The Gate opened in October 2005 and was followed by new casino venues in Swansea and Northampton.

Speaking about the Newcastle gambling venue, Mr Noble added: "We certainly have businesses from far afield who choose to come and play here.

"A lot of people from the far east do choose to come to Newcastle, people from Glasgow, Manchester and all over the globe choose this as the venue and the city to come to."

The venue includes live table games such as roulette, blackjack and punto banco, as well as a poker room that accommodates up to 160 players.
