Rowdy Poker Game Coming to Playboy TV

TV producer Sam Simon is planning to make his own poker show. According to reports, he said that he has been told on several occasions that his private poker games are so entertaining that he should make them into a TV show.

Simon plans to put that idea to the test by creating a show called “Sam’s Game”, which will debut this week on Playboy TV. The players involved in the debut version of the show include an impressive list of stars and pro poker players, including Artie Lang, Norm MacDonald, Jenifer Tilly, and former Playmate of the Year and Celebrity Apprentice contestant Brande Roderick.

Simon says that the quality of Texas Hold’em Poker play seen in the games may not itself be stellar - not by World Series of Poker standards anyway, but the games will always be funny and entertaining, and the comedy will be of the ‘raw’ kind, with unfiltered language to match.

The show, “Sam’s Game”, was filmed at The Palm Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
