Casino boss is aiming to attract non-gamers as well as blackjack and roulette fans.
The G Casino in Blackpool is set to become a 24-hour gambling venue this weekend.New manager Maxine Gibbons told the Blackpool Gazette that the casino is aiming to build on its recent success and become one of the top entertainment centres in the north-west.
She claimed that the venue, which will be open around the clock every weekend from now on, offers "more than just gambling".
"This is already a successful casino but I want to get our name out there, put more events on and make it even more of a success," Ms Gibbons told the newspaper.
"We want to brand it more as a night out rather than a place to gamble It's much more than that."
The casino, which employs about 100 people, features a range of live gaming tables, a 200-seat poker room and an 80-seat restaurant.
Run by Grosvenor, the G Casino chain also includes venues in London, Luton, Manchester and Aberdeen.
