Darts players such as James Wade and Adrian Lewis are set to try their hands at poker.
Several of the world's top darts players are set to take part in a special poker tournament in south London tonight (July 29th).Sponsored by sports betting firm 180bets.com, the event at Coombe Lodge in Blackheath will be hosted by John McDonald of Sky Sports fame.
According to News Shopper Online, darts stars James Wade, Adrian Lewis, Terry Jenkins and Mark Walsh will all be hoping to translate their skills at the oche into success at the poker table.
The tournament is not the first time the worlds of darts and poker have combined, as Andy Fordham took part in an online poker tournament earlier this month using his nickname The Viking.
Poker has become a popular pastime among sportsmen of all disciplines, with Ryan Atkins beating 64 other rugby league stars in the Super League Poker Challenge earlier this year.
The Wakefield Wildcats star won £4,000 in the event at the Gala Casino in Leeds.
