Bookmakers offer odds on a Premier League move for Spain international David Silva.
British bookmakers are still taking bets on a move to the Premier League for Spanish star David Silva, despite Valencia president Manuel Llorente's insistence that he is not for sale. Both Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with the 23-year-old midfielder, although Llorente told the Spanish press that "the club is not interested in selling this player".
Sky Bet offers 5/4 on Silva joining Liverpool and 10/1 that he moves to United, while the chances of him staying at the Mestalla are also rated at 5/4.
"After laying Silva over the last few days to go to either Liverpool or Manchester United, we're hoping that the Valencia president Manuel Llorente is correct when he says the player is not for sale," said Sky Bet's Tim Reynolds.
Silva scored six goals in 24 appearances for Valencia last season. He made his senior international debut in 2006 and has found the net three times for Spain so far.
In other transfer betting, William Hill is offering 11/4 that Manchester City buy one more player for at least £10 million before the new season gets underway.
