888 makes a first-page appearance in 60 per cent of online casino searches.
A new study of online casinos has named 888.com as the most visible gambling portal for UK internet users.The research, carried out by search engine marketing agency Greenlight for EGRmagazine.com, found that 888.com has retained its status as the country's most high-profile casino site.
According to the findings, the website was featured in 60 per cent of first-page search engine results for online casino portals in June, while SpinPalace.com took second place with 50 per cent.

Meanwhile, William Hill's online casino service rose to number three in the rankings with 36 per cent and Casino.com was fourth with 35 per cent.
Other websites featuring in the top ten included Casino.co.uk, 32Red.com and LittlewoodsCasino.com.
According to recent reports, authorities in Ireland are considering an overhaul of the country's gambling laws to legalise online casinos.
Internet casinos are currently forbidden in Ireland under the 1956 Gaming and Lotteries Act.
