Gala Coral hopes to entice more casino visitors with new betting lounges.
Ten UK casinos operated by Gala Coral have been equipped with state-of-the-art sports betting lounges.Working with digital content provider Kaleidovision, the gambling firm is hoping to increase the number of people visiting its premier casino venues by offering improved betting facilities.
The new lounge areas feature large plasma screens showing a variety of sporting events, low-level lighting, live odds data and LED-lit free phones which customers can use to place their bets.

"We wanted to give people another reason to come to a casino," explained John Birmingham, head of core products for Gala Gaming.
The company converted many of the existing 'E Lounges' in its casinos to create the new areas.
Gala Coral, which currently operates 27 casinos, unveiled a multi-branded gaming venue in Gibraltar earlier this year which combines elements of a casino, bingo club and betting shop.
The £6 million development features a casino area with poker facilities, a 450-seater bingo hall and a Coral sports betting lounge.
