Staff from Portsmouth gambling venue complete Three Peaks challenge.
Casino staff from the south coast recently took part in a climbing challenge to raise money for charity.Employees of Grosvenor Casinos completed the climb of the highest mountains in the UK, according to the Portsmouth News.
Conor Toner, Paul Brady and Mel Newman managed to reach the summits of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon at 4,460 feet, 3,206 feet and 3,560 feet respectively.
The participants completed all the ascensions in 24 hours and raised a total of £2,000 for the Rowans Hospice in the process.
Tony Thorn, fundraising and marketing manager at the facility, welcomed their efforts.
"Support from members of the public, such as the staff and customers at Grosvenor Casinos, plays an important role in helping us meet the £3.7 million needed every year to keep our service going," he said.
