Edinburgh woman wins £92,115 at bingo hall and fellow players take a share of the winnings.
Every player at the Meadowbank Gala Bingo venue in Edinburgh went home a winner last Saturday (August 29th) thanks to a High 5 jackpot of more than £92,000.A local woman scooped the £92,115 prize on Gala's High 5 game, which allocates half the jackpot to the winner and shares the remainder out between the rest of the players.
According to the Edinburgh News, the winnings were split between 438 bingo players in the Scottish capital.

Commenting on her win, the unidentified woman told the newspaper: "I still can't believe it's happened - it's like a dream."
The first High 5 jackpot was won by Margaret Ann Venables at the Gala Bingo club in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, in November 2007.
Ms Venables, a 52-year-old mother of four, scooped £874,208 at the bingo venue and her prize was shared between 369 of the club's members.
"This win has not only changed my life but has made a difference to the lives of all of my friends at the club," she said afterwards.
