Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash is due to perform at a casino anniversary.
Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has been confirmed to play at a poolside concert at the Mirage hotel and casino in Las Vegas next month.The rocker, whose hits with the band included Sweet Child O' Mine, Paradise City and Welcome To The Jungle, will attend the event to celebrate the gambling site's 20th anniversary.
Due to be hosted by 24 star Kiefer Sutherland, the October 2nd event will also see Courtney Love, the widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, take to the stage, the Press Association reports.
According to the news provider, the casino is also set to host a celebrity poker tournament and a number of nightclub events over the course of the weekend.
The Mirage, which features a volcano and a lobby aquarium, first opened its doors to the public in November 1989 and it claims to have "forever changed" the Las Vegas Strip over the years.
