David Beckham is the subject of new sports betting markets.

Speculation over a return to England for Beckham creates interest with sports betting firms.

Recent hints from David Beckham over a return to English football have seen bookmakers offer new bets on the LA Galaxy player's future.

Beckham is keen to win a place in Fabio Capello's squad for the World Cup finals next year and has indicated that he will seek a new club when the US football season closes between November and March.

Speaking to the BBC earlier this week, the 34-year-old said: "Everyone knows I will be planning to come back to Europe … There are a few options, put it that way."

A book on which club Beckham will join is now open at Sky Bet, with the sports betting firm making Tottenham Hotspur the current favourites at 6/1 and his former team Manchester United priced at 25/1.

If the former Real Madrid midfielder does make it into Capello's squad for South Africa next year, he will become the first player to represent England in four World Cups.
