The online slot game Pirates' Millions is offering a jackpot of £8.88 million.
A new advertising campaign has been created to publicise the launch of the largest ever online slot machine jackpot by 888.com.The Pirates' Millions slot game currently features a top prize of £8.88 million and the gaming portal is offering players three free spins for a chance to get their hands on the treasure.
Dom Joly, the comedian, journalist and star of Trigger Happy TV, appears in 888.com's new advert, in which he dons a snorkel and mask to avoid drowning in money after hitting the jackpot.
The online casino's senior vice-president and chief operating officer Itai Pazner explained that the campaign was inspired by the success of previous 888ladies adverts featuring Vic Reeves.
"Our creative with Vic Reeves showed that TV is a great way to reach our target audience and we believe that Dom Joly's fun-loving image is ideal for communicating the messages of Pirates' Millions," Mr Pazner explained.
The Pirates' Millions adverts can currently be seen on ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and Five.
Last year, Shooting Stars host Vic Reeves dressed up as a woman to promote the 888ladies online bingo brand.
