A recent jackpot at Beacon Bingo is thought to be the most ever won on a bingo terminal.
Two Beacon Bingo clubs have paid out prizes worth over £23,000 in recent weeks, it has emerged.The jackpots were both won on bingo terminals, with one player pocketing £9,661 at Beacon Bingo's Northampton club before a prize of £13,330 was claimed at the venue in Cricklewood, north London.
According to Which Bingo, the Cricklewood jackpot is thought to be the largest amount of money ever won on an electronic bingo terminal in the UK.
Commenting on the prizes, Beacon Bingo chairman Brian Mattingley told the website: "Cricklewood is the largest bingo club in the UK but all our bingo venues have these bingo terminals, which means everyone has a great chance to win fabulous jackpots."
In September, Bingo News reported that three numbers game venues were being rebranded under the Beacon Bingo name this month.
The former Riva Bingo venues in Brighton and Streatham, south London, are now part of the Beacon brand, while the Hippodrome Bingo club in Lowestoft has also been rebranded.
