The bingo sponsorship agreement between tombola and Emmerdale will run until January 2011.
Online bingo operator tombola has been confirmed as the new sponsor of Emmerdale, ITV's popular soap opera.The sponsorship deal will begin next month and run until January 2011, with tombola chief executive Phil Cronin hailing the agreement as "a significant opportunity" for his company.
He added: "The show's reach, the affection in which it's held and its values of drama, fun and community make it the ideal partner for the tombola brand."

Under the terms of the deal, the tombola brand will appear on ITV1, ITV2 and ITV3 broadcasts of Emmerdale, as well as featuring in an online and interactive capacity.
The Yorkshire-based soap is one of the most popular programmes on British TV and regularly attracts 6.5 million viewers.
"We are delighted to have tombola as sponsors until January 2011," said Bhavit Chandrani, sponsorship manager at ITV.
E-Gaming Review recently placed tombola at number 38 in its 2009 Power 50, an annual ranking of the gambling industry's leading operators.
