Celebrity Bingo Show To Return

Gala Bingo says its celebrity TV show is back by popular demand.

Gala Bingo has announced that the celebrity-based show Showbiz Bingo will return to its Gala TV channel next month.

Paul Tremain, director of programmes for Gala TV, said the programme proved so popular with viewers on its initial run in July that the online bingo operator decided to produce another series.

Showbiz Bingo features gossip and news from celebrity columnists such as the Sunday Mirror's Dean Piper and Lucie Cave of Heat magazine, as well as special guest appearances.

Mr Tremain confirmed that the October 31st show will feature Camilla Dallerup of Strictly Come Dancing fame.

"We were overwhelmed by the response to July's Showbiz Bingo that we've decided to bring it back," he said.

"Adding Camilla to the line-up for a dedicated 'Strictly Showbiz' version of the show is set to be equally popular, as Gala TV's chat rooms have been buzzing with conversations about the new series."

Earlier this year, former EastEnders actor Chris Parker joined Gala TV as the host of its Soap Star Bingo programme.
