The broadcaster aims to broaden its revenue streams with new digital bingo offering.
Five is aiming to drive traffic to its online gambling services through a new web-only bingo programme. The FreeBingo Show is streamed online every weekday at 11:00 GMT for one hour and allows viewers to play for cash prizes.
Jonathan Lewis, head of digital media at Five, said that the programme was developed in recognition of the fact that commercial broadcasters must "diversify their revenue streams".
He explained: "Gaming activities such as Five's online bingo and casino services are just one such example of how broadcasters can broaden their revenue base beyond traditional sources."
Last month, Five began to offer gaming services provided by NetPlay's SuperCasino.com show as part of its late-night schedule.
Although the programme was already available through Scottish broadcaster STV, the deal brought live television gambling to households in England for the very first time.
Chief executive of NetPlay Martin Higginson said that TV channels were "desperately looking for new sources of revenue" in an attempt to reverse the decline in advertising spend.
