A proportion of the earnings from the new slot games will be donated to charity.
A new slot machine game could soon become a fixture of pubs and clubs around the UK, it has been claimed.Gamestec, a gambling equipment manufacturer based in West Yorkshire, is preparing to launch its new lottery ticket dispenser game TabBOXX.
According to the Bradford Telegraph and Argus, the machine offers a maximum payout of £1,000 and could be installed in up to 4,000 British pubs and clubs over the next three years.
In addition, pub companies will donate 20p from every £1 spent on the game to charity.
Peter Davies, business development director at Gamestec, told the newspaper that pub owners may choose to replace their cigarette vending machines with a TabBOXX.
"It is particularly apt that, in the first instance, the charity we are supporting is the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation," he added.
MPs in the House of Commons recently voted to ban cigarette vending machines under an amendment to the government's health bill.
