Wenger's Arsenal take on Tottenham at the Emirates on Saturday

Derby fixture between Arsenal and Spurs prompts sports betting activity in the Premier League.

Bookmakers have opened several special betting markets on this Saturday's (October 31st) north London derby at the Emirates stadium.

With both teams level on points in the league, the eagerly-anticipated encounter between bitter rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur is expected to be another passionate affair and William Hill is offering 17/2 on the referee showing at least two red cards.

Spokesperson for the firm Rupert Adams described the match as "the betting highlight of the weekend", with the bookmaker also making the derby 9/2 to be the Premier League's highest scoring fixture.

Meanwhile, Sky Bet is offering 11/2 on Arsenal once again scoring four goals against Tottenham following last season's dramatic 4-4 draw.

"Both teams have been scoring freely with Arsenal averaging just over four goals a game at home, so you would expect another high-scoring north London thriller," said Sky Bet's Tim Reynolds.

Tottenham currently have the best away form in the top flight, having won three and drawn one of their five games on the road this season.
