Sports betting firm believes the days of the Premier League's top four could be numbered.
Recent events in the Premier League have prompted questions about the future of the top flight's 'big four' managers, according to sports betting firm William Hill. The bookmaker has opened a new market on which of the bosses will leave their job first, with Liverpool's Rafa Benitez the current favourite at 11/10.
William Hill spokesperson Graham Sharpe said that the era of big four dominance "may be drawing to a close", with Liverpool struggling this season while other clubs such as Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur challenge at the top end of the table.
"We think Rafa is in genuine danger of departing by the end of the season," Mr Sharpe added.
Liverpool host Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday (October 25th) in what has been touted as a must-win game for the Merseysiders, who have lost their last four matches in all competitions.
William Hill is offering 9/4 on United boss Sir Alex Ferguson being the next big four manager to go, with Chelsea's Carlo Ancelotti priced at 7/2 and Arsene Wenger of Arsenal a 9/2 bet.
Meanwhile, Paddy Power makes Hull City manager Phil Brown the favourite in the Premier League sack race at 9/4, while Portsmouth's Paul Hart is available at 11/4.
