US poker series High Stakes Poker will be filming its sixth series next month.
Andrew Feldman is set to become the first British poker player to appear on High Stakes Poker, it has been confirmed.The popular show, which is broadcast by US cable network GSN, is currently preparing to film its sixth season and the young card sharp from Watford has been added to the roster of featured players.
Feldman finished third at the grand final of the Grosvenor Poker Tour after arriving on the live tournament scene in 2007 and his career earnings now exceed $500,000.
He revealed that online poker ace Tom 'durrrr' Dwan was responsible for suggesting that he took part in High Stakes Poker.
"Maybe he thinks I'm good value, maybe he thinks I'll give action I hope it's the latter. Last month I played the Full Tilt Million Dollar Cash Game, but this is going to be just as tough if not tougher," Feldman commented.
According to Poker News Daily, season six of High Stakes Poker will be filmed from November 11th to 13th at the Golden Nugget casino in Las Vegas, with the first episode due to air in February 2010.
Five players have featured in all five seasons of the show so far - Doyle Brunson, Eli Elezra, Antonio Esfandiari, Barry Greenstein and Daniel Negreanu.
