The Workington club is one of three Opera Bingo venues in the region.
The Opera Bingo club in Workington is expected to reopen today (November 25th) after being closed due to the heavy flooding in Cumbria.Last week's downpours caused major problems for residents of the north-west county, with six bridges collapsing and many homes in Cockermouth being damaged by flood waters that Conservative leader David Cameron claimed were "of biblical proportions".
Meanwhile, the Calva Bridge in Workington has been declared unsafe amid fears that it could collapse into the River Derwent.
Despite these events, a statement on the Opera Bingo website indicates that the firm's Workington venue is set to reopen.
The company operates three bingo clubs in Cumbria, with its other venues located in Penrith and Whitehaven.
Opera Bingo offers national game prizes of up to £25,000, as well as the chance to win a luxury holiday for two each month.
Earlier this year, retired hospital cleaner Joyce Martin of Keswick scooped a £23,600 jackpot at the Opera Bingo hall in Penrith.
