Slots and roulette are the favourite games for female casino gamers in France.
New research has indicated that French women spend more time playing online casino games than their female counterparts in other European countries.The survey by casino.com found that over one-quarter of its female players hail from France, with 32 per cent of them favouring online slot machines or roulette games.
According to the findings, people in France consider online gambling to be a form of social entertainment, as well as a potential source of prize money.

"We were very surprised to find that more French women play at our casino than women elsewhere," said Jeff Turner, casino.com's marketing director.
He added: "We plan to intensify our investment and improve our customer service to duplicate these results across the board."
French lawmakers are currently in the process of ending the state monopoly and liberalising the country's online gambling industry, which could provide opportunities for many UK-based casino operators.
According to a recent report in the Times, an estimated three million French people currently use gambling sites based outside the country.
