Rank Group's G Casino brand now has nine gambling venues up and running in the UK.
Richard Edwards, operations director at Coventry's new G Casino, believes the venue can capitalise on an opportunity in the UK gambling and leisure market.Having officially relaunched this week following a £1.6 million refurbishment, the Ricoh Arena casino venue is aiming to offer an all-round entertainment experience for visitors, the Coventry Telegraph reports.
Mr Edwards admitted that the casino is also under some pressure to perform, as it is one of the most significant business investments made in the West Midlands city this year.

"Challenge and opportunity are two sides of the same coin - and we are looking forward to seizing it," he told the newspaper.
Commenting on the business advantages enjoyed by the venue, Mr Edwards added: "The location, the fit-out and the scale of the casino are superb."
The Coventry outlet is the ninth G Casino to open in the UK following venues in Aberdeen, Blackpool, Bolton, Dundee, London, Luton, Manchester and Thanet.
Isle of Capri, the US casino operator, sold the property to G Casino owner Rank Group in April this year.
